We need the help of the community to truly make a difference, so that means we need your help!

Becoming a volunteer is a fantastic way to get involved in the conservation projects around our region. We always have a range of projects that we would love your help with.

Not only do you get to give back to your community, but you will be protecting the wildlife, habitats, freshwater and region for future generations.

One person can make a change, a group of people can make an impact, but a whole community can make a transformation.

If you want to get involved, then there are a wide range of opportunities available. You can find out more about them by…

  • Checking out the links and contact details on this page of groups currently providing volunteer opportunities,
  • Keeping an eye on the events calendar for up to date information on upcoming activities,
  • Joining Restore Taranaki as a friend to be kept up to date on upcoming opportunities,
  • Follow our facebook page for the latest information or
  • Get in touch with us and we can help point you in the right direction!

Volunteering is a fantastic way for individuals to get involved, but if you want to take your support to the next level you may choose to become a Guardian. Local Community Groups may want to become a Community Friend, or local businesses may want to become a Corporate Friend.
